Tigers take down Newton County in back-to-back games

The Noxapater Tigers stayed unbeaten as they took two blowout wins last week.

Noxapater hammered Newton twice, winning 23-0 on Tuesday and 15-0 on Thursday.

Lady Warriors take district; Warriors fall to McAdams

The Nanih Waiya Lady Warriors capped off an undefeated run through the Division 6-1A Tournament last week.

The Lady Warriors added two more wins to their total as they beat Noxapater 39-29 in the 6-1A semifinals and then beat Velma Jackson 52-31 in the finals to claim the tournament title.

Warriors, Lady Warriors make clean sweep of Ethel and Noxapater

The Nanih Waiya basketball teams finished out the regular season in strong fashion as both added a pair of double-digit wins.

The Lady Warriors completed an impressive undefeated run through 6-1A play as they beat Noxapater 54-19 and Ethel 59-36.

The Warriors also added two more wins, beating Noxapater 71-34 and Ethel 59-36.
