French Camp Panthers pull the win away from Nanih Waiya

The French Camp baseball team only got in one game last week but it was a good one.

The Panthers scored in the bottom of the seventh to force extra innings and then scored on a walkoff error in the bottom of the eighth in a 5-4 win over Nanih Waiya on Thursday.

The French Camp softball team had an up-and-down week, losing two out of three games.

French Camp lost 13-0 to Eupora on Monday but bounced back and took a 17-3 win over J.Z. George on Tuesday. They finished the week with a 12-0 loss to Calhoun City on Thursday.

Panthers went on a roll on the diamond before falling to Senatobia

It was a busy and productive week for the French Camp baseball team, winning three out of four games last week.

French Camp opened the week with a 16-5 win over Winona Christian and then took a 21-3 win over Calhoun City on Thursday. On Friday, the Panthers beat Class 6A Columbus before falling 8-7 to Senatobia on Saturday.
