Lance Wade Groceman

A celebration of life will be held for Lance Wade Groceman, 67, on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman.
A native of Ackerman, he was born in 1956. Mr. Groceman passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at his residence.
Lance is survived by his wife, Vicky (Chesnut) Groceman of Ackerman; two daughters, Tamara (Lance) Walker of Gulf Shores, Ala. and Arron Savoie of Indiana; eight grandchildren, Lexi (Hunter), Chance, Cooper, Piper, Gavin, Ava, Dash, and Veronica, and three great-grandchildren; and his father-in-law, Joel Nowlin; two brothers, four sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Coleman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Hattie Lee Warren

Funeral services for Hattie Lee Warren, 99, were held at Warren Chapel Church of God in Christ on Sunday, March 31 at 2 p.m. Superintendent Marcus Smith officiated service and burial was held in Louisville Memorial.
A native of Louisville, Mrs. Warren was born in 1924. She died at her home on March 26, 2024.
She is survived by her six daughters, Mary Gill of Savannah, Ga., Willie M. Shell, Geraldine Harrison, Delois Hickman, Adaline Hickman and Gerald Patty; a son, Jimmy Warren of Gulfport; two extended children, Jerome Warren and Katherine Robert both of Louisville; 60 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Sandra Dell Hopson

Cremation service for Sandra Dell Hopson, 64, was held on Saturday, March 30 at Beck Funeral Home in Weir. Apostle Tina Rhodes officiated service.
A native of Weir, she was born in 1959. She died on March 19, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
She is survived by her son, David Hopson of Saltillo; two grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

John Eddie Laine

Funeral services for John Eddie Laine, 65, were held at Harper Chapel Missionary Baptist Church on March 30 at 11 a.m. Rev. Carlton Fisher officiated services and burial was held in Eiland cemetery.
A native of Louisville, he was born in 1958. Mr. Laine died at his home on March 19, 2024.
He is survived by his daughters, Jackie Hunt of Louisville and Jasmine Laine of Weir; three brothers, a sister, four grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
