Funeral services for Roosevelt Porter, 68, were held on Saturday, March 23 at Beck Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Rev. Richard Lyons officiated the cremation service.
A native of Louisville, Mr. Porter was born 1955 and died March 13, 2024 at his home.
He is survived by his son, Dwayne Byrd, three sisters, a brother, two aunts, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Beck Funeral Home of Louisville was in charge of arrangements.
LaQuonda White Kirkwood

Funeral services for LaQuonda White Kirkwood, 43, were held Saturday, March 23 at Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church. Dr. Benjamin Pittman officiated services and burial was held in Louisville Memorial.
A native of Louisville, Mrs. Kirkwood was born in 1981. She died March 11, 2024 at the University of Alabama-Birmingham hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Kirkwood; her father George (Ella) Miller; her daughter, LaKira Jackson; two sons, Markeis Jackson and Markevius Jackson; three step children, Keyonna Kirkwood, Keyondra Kirkwood, and Kai’asya Kirkwood; three sisters, three brothers, two in-laws, and a host oof nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Beck Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
