Funeral services for Jerry Cornelius Nunn, 34, were held at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church on Monday, March 11 at noon. Rev. Peter J. Neely, Sr. officiated service and burial was in the RN and LJ Family Cemetery.
A native of Louisville, Mr. Nunn was born in 1989, he died March 6, 2024, at his home.
He is survived by his father Jerry (Barbara) Nunn and his mother, Georgie H. Walker, his daughter, Ava Nunn; two sons, Emory Nunn and Chase Clark; his grandparent; Leona Nunn, siblings, Jerrick Nunn, Cherry Rush, Eden Riddle, LaPorsche Rush and Dyamond Walker. Honorary brothers, Aaron Hughey and Patrick Cooper; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Marcelene Washington

Funeral services for Marcelene Washington, 72, were held at Mission Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Preston on Saturday, March 16 at noon. Rev. Charles Griffin officiated services and her burial was held in Friendship cemetery.
A native of Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. Washington was born in 1951, she died March 11, 2024, at Methodist South Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
She is survived by her three sons, Michael Washington of Memphis, Tenn., Ernest Washington of Chula Vista, Ca., and Robert Washington of Hiroshima, Japan; two sisters Linda and Debra; five brothers, Johnnie M., Marcell, Willie, Billy and Jerome; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Annie C. Lagrone, 56, were held at Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church on Friday, March 15 at 1 p.m. Rev. James Gardner officiated services and burial was held in the church’s cemetery.
A native of Louisville, Mrs. Lagrone was died on March 7, 2024, at Baptist Medical Center in Columbus.
She is survived by her husband Walter Lagrone, a daughter, Contina R. Walker; two sons, Justin P. Lagrone and Nathan A. Lagrone; three brothers, Eddie Walker, David Walker and Tommy Hardin; five grands, four sister-in-laws, four brother-in-laws, six goddaughters, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A native of Louisville, Mr. Gale was born in 1996 and died Februray 25, 2024 in Winston County.
He is survived by his father Rodney (Gloria) Hunt, mother, Lakisha Gale; a daughter, Khamryin Gale and a son, Kheegan Gale; a sister, Markeisha Hung; step-sisters, Khadijah Rush and Ciara Colston; brothers, Rodney K. Hunt and LaZayvion Hunt; grandparents, Bobbie Gale and Henry Gale, other relatives and family.
