Mr. William Larry Hemphill, 63, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024, at his home in Louisville, MS. A memorial service was held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 20th, at Porter Funeral Home.
Larry was born July 21, 1960, in Macon, MS, to William Duell and Yvonne Pearl Hemphill. He attended Louisville High School, and worked with Crowson Construction Company for over 30 years. He was a member of Ellison Ridge Baptist Church.
Larry is survived by his wife, Lynn Hemphill of Louisville; a daughter, Cricket Hemphill, and a son, Bumper (Stephanie) Hemphill, both of Louisville; a sister, Cindy (David) Robertson of Starkville; five grandchildren, Katelyn Nicole (Bradley) Hemphill, William Dalton Hemphill, Jazlyn Kirk, Harley Kirk, and Layla Kirk; two great grandchildren, Waylon Douglas Baysinger and Kinsley Nicole Baysinger; and his aunt, Dorathy Coldren.
Memorials may be made to the Ellison Ridge Baptist Church.
