Services for Raymond Michael “The 82 Kid” Drungole, 62, of Starkville were March 10, 2024, at St. Stephen United Methodist Church in Maben. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery on Douglastown Road, Starkville.
He was born Aug. 4, 1961, in Starkville to the late Carl F. Drungole and Diana S. Thomas. Mr. Drungole was a graduate of Maben High School and became a “master painter.” He died March 3, 2024.
Survivors include a son, Phillip Michael Drungole; five siblings, Linda, Ronald, Victoria Paula, Daphanie and Darrell; and one grandson.
West Memorial Funeral Home of Starkville was in charge of arrangements.
Jim Allen Sheffield Sr.

Graveside services for Jim Allen Sheffield Sr., 86, were March 18, 2024, at Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Choctaw County.
He was born Oct. 2, 1937, in Choctaw County to the late Robert J. Sheffield and Allie Mae Walker Sheffield, and was buried alongside them. Mr. Sheffield was self-employed in the beauty industry. He died March 6, 2024, at Westwood Nursing Center in Statesboro, Ga.
Survivors include his wife, Penelope Sheffield; two daughters, Kathie and Alice Sheffield; a son, Jim Sheffield Jr.; all of the Savannah-Statesboro, Ga., area; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home of Statesboro and Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora were in charge of arrangements.
