Services for Ralph E. Alderman Sr., 83, of Eupora were March 8, 2024, at Newsom Funeral Home in Charleston.
He was born May 31, 1940, in Eupora, and attended Eupora High School. Mr. Alderman worked for Brown Bottling Co., Quaker Oats and Lemon-X Corp. of New York., and served in the U.S. Air Force. He died March 2, 2024.
Florence Lafoxe Carpenter Bilbo

Services for Florence Lafoxe Carpenter Bilbo, 82, of McCool were March 9, 2024, at Salem Independent Methodist Church in Ackerman with grand-nephew Dylan Todd officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
She was born Aug. 27, 1941, to the late Lannie and Bobbie Bowie in Greenwood. Mrs. Bilbo died March 4, 2024.
Survivors include Fred Bilbo; two sisters, Billye Anne Barfield and Jeanne Todd; three sons, Jim Carpenter, Tim Carpenter and Fox Carpenter; two daughters, Kim Swindle and Kelli Stenovitch; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Johnny Bagwell, Bill Bishop, Mike Bruce, Billy Collier, Ricky Liddell, George Maddox, Steve Montgomery, Matt Ryan and Jimmy Upchurch.
Memorials may be made to the Salem Independent Methodist Church Cemetery Fund or an animal rescue organization of one’s choice.
Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman was in charge of arrangements.
Marty Wayne Henson

Memorial graveside services for Marty Wayne Henson, 59, are 11 a.m. March 15, 2024, at New Haven Cemetery near Weir with the Rev. Allen Simpson officiating. Visitation is being held before service time starting at 10 a.m. in New Haven Baptist Church.
He was born April 30, 1964, in Ackerman to the late Paul Wayne and Myra A. Simpson Henson. Mr. Henson was employed by TMA until health issues forced him to retire. He died March 8, 2024, at his residence in Weir.
Survivors include a son, Tyler Henson of Weir; and a sister, Gay Magee.
Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman is in charge of arrangements.
William Wallace ‘Bill" McBride Jr.

Services for William Wallace "Bill" McBride Jr., 77, of Blue Springs were Feb. 28, 2024, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora with the Rev. Scott McBride officiating. Burial was in Clarkson Cemetery in Mathiston.
He was born to William Wallace McBride Sr. and Liazer Olean Goines McBride in Houston on March 29, 1946. Mr. McBride was a retired service tech for Diebold and a member of Mt. Moriah Methodist Church in Webster County. He also served in the U.S. Air Force as a radio relay equipment repairman. Mr. McBride died Feb. 26, 2024, at the State Veterans Home in Oxford.
Survivors include two daughters, Beth McBride and Emily Loague of Blue Springs; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Pallbearers were George McBride, Joe McBride, Scott McBride, Willie Lott, Ken Palmer and Keith Palmer.
