Wayman Martin Harpole

Services for Wayman Martin Harpole, 83, of West Point were Feb. 15, 2024, at First Baptist Church of West Point with burial in Maben Memorial Garden.
He was born in Maben on Sept. 20, 1940, to the late Sara Louise Martin Harpole and Wayman Belton Harpole. Mr. Martin was a retired 45-year employee of Bryan Foods and served in the Mississippi National Guard. He was a member of Maben Methodist Church and attended FBC-West Point. He died Feb. 12, 2024.
Survivors include his wife, Dr. Sandra H. Harpole; a daughter, Sara Beth Harpole Proffitt of Columbus; a brother, Terry Harpole of Maben; and three grandchildren.
Robinson Funeral Home of West Point was in charge of arrangements.
Clyde Thomas Williams

Services for Clyde Thomas Williams, 89, were Feb. 17, 2024, at Antioch Community Church near Ackerman with burial in the church cemetery.
He was born May 25, 1934, in Choctaw County to the late Charlie P. and Minerva Bagwell Williams. Mr. Williams was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran and worked in various manufacturing facilities and at Gilliland’s Supermarket. He was a member of Antioch Community Church. He died Feb. 12, 2024, at his residence in Ackerman.
Survivors include a son, Mike Williams of Ackerman; two daughters, Patricia Morton of Nashua, N.H., and Charli Williams of Burke, Va.; a sister, Dean Fondren of Memphis, Tenn.; and two grandchildren.
