of Ackerman, MS, passed away on Wednesday, May
A native of Vaiden, she was born in 1952. She died on May 1, 2024, at her residence.
Deborah was a Retired Financial Consultant for Nursing Home Facilities.
Deborah is survived by her daughter, Leigh Knighton Ellington of Ackerman;
two brothers; two grandchildren, Mauri Wilson and Miller Wilson, and one
step-granddaughter, Devan Ellington. She also leaves behind three nieces and one nephew.
Coleman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Montrell LaShon Curtis

Funeral services for Montrell LaShon Curtis, 32, were held at Reform Chapel Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, May 4 at 11 a.m. Rev. Rafael Patrick was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the church’s cemetery.
A native of Ackerman, Mr. Curtis was born in 1992. He died on April 21 in Indiana.
He is survived by his parents Ricky and Linda Curtis, Tommy Cork and Robert Jones; his son, Camryn Cantrell Walker; his sisters, Shirreka Roberson and Jacklin Eiland; three brothers, Michael Cork, JaMarion Curtis and Jarvis Curtis, a special friend, Roshuna Wagner, grandparents, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Beck Funeral Home of Weir was in charge of arrangements.
