Memorial services will be held for Patricia Stepp Patterson, 73, on Saturday, April 20, 2024, 11 a.m. at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman with Dr. Danny Irvin officiating.
A native of Ackerman, Mrs. Patterson passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at her residence. She was born in 1950. She was a retired Wal-Mart Associate.
Mrs. Patterson is survived by her son, Jeff Paulk of Ackerman, and daughter, Kayla Newlin of Weir; a brother and sister, and three grandchildren, Xander Newlin, Brady Paulk, and Justin Paulk.

Funeral services for Rev. Gary Dale Jackson, 73, were held at Kilmichael Baptist Church in Kilmichael on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at noon. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home.
A second visitation will be held prior to service time starting at 10 a.m. Burial followed the funeral service at Morgan Chapel Cemetery near Sturgis at 3 p.m.
A native of Weir, Rev. Jackson passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at his residence near Weir. He was born in in 1950. He was a retired Senator, minister and banker. He was a member of Kilmichael Baptist Churc
Gary is survived by his wife, Dianne Jackson; two sons, Corbett Jackson of Sturgis and David Perry of French Camp; his mother, Sara Jackson; two brothers, and two sisters; and eight grandchildren, Sara Jackson, Megan Jackson, Chase Jackson, Anna Jackson, Kyla McKnight, Colin Perry, Cody Perry, and Kambrie Perry; and a great-grandchild, Cora Beth Crocker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to French Camp Academy.

Annie “AD” Shell

Funeral service for Annie “AD” Shell, 84, was held at Gospel Temple COGIC Transformational Center on Saturday, April 13 at 11 a.m. Rev. John Baker officiated service and burial was held in Enon Cumberland cemetery.
A native of Weir, she was born in 1939. Mrs. Shell died at her home on April 3, 2024.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Baber; three sons, John W. Shell, Richard Shell and Christopher Shell; a brother, two sisters, 28 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
