Funeral services for Sherry Ready Raybourn, 71, were held at Salem Independent Methodist Church near Ackerman, on Friday, February 9, 2024, at noon. Visitation was held prior to service time starting at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery.
A native of Ackerman, MS, Mrs. Raybourn was born in 1951.She passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Choctaw Regional Medical Center in Ackerman.
Sherry was retired from the Choctaw County School District where she held various positions and she also babysat several children, prior to joining the school district.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Thomas Raybourn; two daughters, Gina (Bill) Bishop of Ackerman, and April (Nick) Phelps of Saucier and. four grandchildren, Brett Bishop (Kelsey Dogan) of Ackerman, and Ryleigh Phelps, Trigger Phelps, and Canaan Phelps all of Saucier.
Memorials may be made to the Salem Cemetery.

Stephanie Nichole Jones

Funeral services were held for Stephanie Nichole Jones, 40, at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at 3 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to service time starting at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Craig Springs Cemetery near Sturgis.
A native of Starkville, Mrs. Jones passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, near Starkville. She was born in 1983. She was the Client Support Director at Life Choices Pregnancy Care Center in Columbus. She was a member of The Pointe Church in Brandon.
Stephanie is survived by her two children, Gene Jacob Jones and Ava Hauck of Starkville; her parents, Frederick Lynn “Ricky” (Isabella) Jones of Jackson and Vickie (James) Salley of Ackerman; three sisters and three nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Life Choices Pregnancy Care Center in Columbus.

Clyde Thomas Williams

Funeral services for Clyde Thomas Williams, 89, will be held at Antioch Community Church near Ackerman, MS, on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Antioch Community Church Cemetery.
A native of Ackerman, Mr. Williams passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024, at his residence in Ackerman. Clyde was born in 1934. Clyde was a retired US Air Force Veteran after 22 years of service, and after retirement, worked in various manufacturing facilities and a number of years at Gilliland’s Supermarket. He was a member of Antioch Community Church.
Clyde is survived by his son, Mike Williams of Ackerman; two daughters, Patricia (Dave) Morton of Nashua, NH, and Charli Williams of Burke, VA; two grandchildren, Sam and Edith Lacagnina of Burke, VA; and a sister.
