This past Saturday morning, a Celebration of Life for Frances Ball was held at First Baptist Church, in Louisville. Ball, a long-time City of Louisville Alderwoman and civic leader, passed away on December 15, 2020. Due to COVID virus concerns her funeral was a private ceremony. FBC Pastor Heath Hillman, and Louisville Mayor Will Hill spoke of the great impact that Ball had upon her church and the community as a whole, and the large gathering of family and friends was evidence of how she touched the lives of those around her.
Ball is remembered as hard-working, fun-loving, determined and dedicated, and one who had an undying love for her God, her family, her friends, and her community, and her country.
