Oh, what an awesome God we serve! I’m so glad that I’m his and he is mine. The day that we are living in is a day that we need a Savior more than ever.
In Isaiah 6:1, it says, “In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.”
Some of you may not know what a train is, but I want to let you know that back in these days kings had what they called a train that was attached to their robe and it fell behind them and lay on the ground. Each time they went to battle the king that won would take the other king’s train and attach it to his, which means if he won many battles his train would be so long that it would be hard to drag.
That’s what our Lord has done, he has won many battles and his train (which represents his glory) fills the temple. We serve one who cannot fail.
Jeremiah 17: 7, 8 says, “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the Lord is.
“For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.”
Praise the Lord! God’s word is the final say-so. Look up and rejoice our redemption draweth nigh. Jesus loves you.
