Oh, my friends, we heard an awesome message last Sunday morning, pleading with hearts to get real with Jesus.
Seeking God for our nations, family and friends, that we would return to moral values, righteousness, holiness and truth. The word came from Joel 2, verses 1, 12, 15 and 17. It says, “Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
“Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
“Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly.
“Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say; Spare thy people O Lord, and give not thine heritage to reproach; that the heathen should rule over them: Wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?”
We know there is a great falling away now. The word says in Matthew 23:12, “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”
So if the love of many are waxing cold, I’m wondering of another scripture found in Luke 18:8 that says, “Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?”
What a bleak picture to see how some that once were on fire for God no longer walk in love and compassion for one another. They have lost the relationship they once had with Jesus.
But praise the Lord, it’s not too late; come and ask the Lord to restore your love, joy and peace once again. Ask him to take out the bitterness and unforgiveness that you are holding on to. He will set you free.
Praise the Lord!
