Praise the Lord for grace and mercy! I pray we all have a closer walk with Jesus. In Luke 18, the last part of verse 8 says, “when the Son of Man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?”
Having faith means, are you abiding in him and is he abiding in you? Do you have a relationships with our Lord?
Matthew 7:26-27 says, “And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
“And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”
Friends, what we need is wisdom and understanding! Job 28:28 says, “And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.”
Psalm 111:10 says, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.”
Proverbs 1:7 says, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
Proverbs 9:10 says, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.”
What I’m trying to get over to us all is that we need the fear of God back in our lives to revere, honor and to esteem him to be Lord of Lords and King of Kings. He is holy and desires that we walk in holiness. Hebrews 12:14 says, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”
Father, I pray in the name of Jesus that you will restore the fear of God back to the body of Christ. Let them make the right decisions and stand on the true Word of God. Let them no longer halt between two opinions but to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are the way, the truth and the life. Amen!
