Well praise the Lord everybody, we are in a new year. No matter what we face, we must always know that the Lord is with us.
Psalms 56:9-13 says, “When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.
“In God will I praise his word: in the Lord will I praise his word.
“In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.
“Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praise unto thee.
“For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver m feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?”
The 12th verse says “thy vows.” That means his promises that means his promises that he has made to all of us. God has to keep his promises to us.
I have one more passage to all of us found in Jeremiah 29:11-13. It says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
“Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”
