Greetings in the precious name of Jesus. You may say, “Why, Sis. Linda, do you say it that way?” Because his name is precious.
Acts 4:12 says, “for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
And not only salvation, but healing and everything else that we may need. In Acts 3,we read about the lame man who was laid at the gate called Beautiful daily desiring alms from whoever came by. But Peter and John didn’t have alms to give him. The sixth verse says, “Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.”
Friend, we serve the same Jesus. There’s still power in that name. The Word says, “And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.”
Miracles, signs and wonders did not go out with the apostles. Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever.” Our Jesus is alive and well. And he loves us when no one else will.
