Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. What a wonderful name it is.
Acts 4:12 says, “Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
In the third chapter of Acts, a lame man was carried daily to the gate of the temple to ask for alms and when he saw Peter and John coming into the temple, he asked for alms.
Then Peter said, “Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” And the word says he immediately received strength in his feet and ankle bones. There’s power in the name of Jesus.
And you may say, “Well, that was in Bible times.” I want to tell you it can happen in our day too. Hebrews 13:8 tells us, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.”
What does forever mean? It means always. The same God that dried up the Red Sea for Moses and the Israelites, the same God that stopped the lions from eating Daniel in the lion’s den, the same God that was with the three Hebrew men in the fiery furnace and we could just go on and on through the Bible, Old and New Testaments, of how God did miracle after miracle.
I want you to know, we have the very same God today! He has not changed.
You may say, “But Sis. Linda, do you believe in miracles, signs and wonders?” Yes I do and I’m looking for a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit and we are going to see many things that are going to be happening.
Oh, praise the Lord, I’m a believer! Remember Jesus loves you.
