Oh I hope and pray above all things that you will have such a desire, a hunger and a thirst that nothing can satisfy except knowing Jesus.
The word plainly tells us in Matthew 5:6, “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”
The Lord wants to fill us up and let our cup run over with his love, joy and peace. Psalm 94:11 says, “No good thing will be withheld from them that walk uprightly.”
But the Lord wants us to love him, desire him more than anything. You may say, “Well, I don’t feel that way.” Then you need to ask him to give you that desire and he will. We keep ourselves so busy with everything there is, even church things, but fail to spend time with our Lord.
It says in Proverbs 16:2, “All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits.” Weigheth means to test, prove.
We need to seek for wisdom and ask for understanding. The main thing is always to seek God’s will.
