The Board of Supervisors of Winston County, Mississippi will receive bids for the construction of the Zion Ridge Road Bridge Project, MDOT Project No. CHBP-0080-00(33) 108130-70200 and State Aid Project No. LSBP-80(14), no later than 10:00 A.M., Local Time, September 20 , 2019, at the Winston County Courthouse located at 115 South Court Ave., Louisville, MS 39339. All bids so received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The work shall consist essentially of the following items:
Construction of a box bridge and temporary gravel approaches, and other related items of work required to complete the project as shown and specified in the Construction Plans and Contract Documents.
The above general outline of features of the work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, equipment and materials required by the specifications and the drawings referred to therein.
The attention of bidders is directed to the Contract Provisions governing selection and employment of labor. Minimum wage rates for Federal-Aid projects have been predetermined by the Secretary of Labor and are subject to Public Law 87-581 Work Hours Act of 1962, as set forth in the Contract Provisions.

Sealed Bids for the construction of the AMR Meters will be received by President and Board Members of Bond Water Association, at the City Hall Courtroom located at 2373 S Church Avenue, Louisville, MS 39339,(Please Fed Ex or UPS to this address Attn: Babs Fulton or via mail P.O. The Project consists of installing AMR Meters.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Calvert-Spradling Engineers, Inc.; 7085 Highway 45 North Alternate, P.O. Drawer 1078; West Point, MS 39773 (CSE#217085). Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All listed iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term “iron and steel products” means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and construction materials.
