Hampton, Civil Action Number 19-58, by the Chancery Court of Winston County, Mississippi on the 11th day of July, 2019. All persons having claims against the Person and Estate of Helen V. Hampton, deceased, are hereby notified to have said claims probated and registered by the Clerk of the Chancery Court of Winston County, Mississippi ninety-days after this date. Failure to Probate and register such claim within the ninety-day period will bar the same.

OF INVITATION FOR BIDS
FOR AGRICULTURAL LEASE
Notice is hereby given by the Board of Trustees of the Louisville Municipal School District that sealed bids will be received by said Board until 10:00 A.M. on the 13th day of August 2019, in the Office of the Superintendent of the Louisville Municipal School District at 891 South Columbus Avenue, Louisville, Mississippi, for an agricultural lease on the following described Sixteenth Section Public School Trust lands situated in Winston County, Mississippi, to-wit:
18.5 acres of pasture land in the Southwest corner of Section 16, Township 15 North, Range 13 East in Winston County, Mississippi.
The lease shall be for a term not to exceed ten (10) years. The form of the lease has been
prescribed by the Board of Trustees and is now on file in the Office of the Superintendent and interested parties may inspect the same during regular office hours.
Bid proposal forms may be obtained from the Office of the Superintendent. Bids shall be submitted for the entire parcel. The minimum bid is $13 per acre. Only the annual rental shall be subject to bid. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, addressed to the Board of Trustees of the Louisville Municipal School District, and plainly marked on the outside of the envelope “BID FOR AGRICULTURAL LEASE”.
The sealed bids submitted will be opened and presented by the superintendent pursuant to this public notice to the Board of Trustees at its regular meeting on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 5:30 P.M.
Pursuant to Section 29-3-81 of the Mississippi Code Annotated (1972) as amended the Board of Trustees of the Louisville Municipal School District may accept the highest and best bid or reject all bids and hold an auction among those who submitted bids in response to the advertisement. Bidders are encouraged to attend the bid opening.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The City of Louisville will receive bids at City Hall, 200 South Church Avenue, P.O. Box 510, Louisville, MS 39339 until 2:00 pm on Friday, August 30, 2019 for the Downtown Pedestrian and Landscape Improvements package of the Capital Improvement projects. Said bids will be opened shortly thereafter.

Bid documents are being made available via original paper copy or electronically. Planholders are required to log-in or register for an account at www.pryormorrowplans.com to view and order Bid Documents. All Planholders are required to have a valid email address for registration. Bid preparation will be in accordance with Section 00200 – Instructions to Bidders, bound in the Project Manual.
BID GUARANTEE: Proposals shall be submitted with Proposal Security in the form of Certified Check or acceptable Bid Bond in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the base bid; such security is to be forfeited as liquidated damages, not penalty, by any bidder who fails to carry out the terms of the proposal. The Bid Bond, if used, shall be payable to the Owner. Bonds on the project must be received on or before the period scheduled for the project and no bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the project. Bids must be firm for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of opening.
PERFORMANCE-PAYMENT BOND: A 100% Performance-Payment Bond issued by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Mississippi will be required within ten (10) days after the successful bidder has been notified of the award of the contract to him.
CERTIFICATE OF RESPONSIBILITY: All bids submitted by a prime or subcontractor for public works or public projects where said bid is in excess of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to perform contracts enumerated in Section 31-3-21, Mississippi Code of 1972, shall contain on the outside or exterior of the envelope or container of such bid the contractor’s current certificate number. No bid shall be opened or considered unless such contractor’s current certificate number appears on the outside or exterior of said envelope or container or unless there appears a statement on the outside or exterior of such envelope or container to the effect that the bid enclosed therewith does not exceed fifty thousand dollars ($50,000).
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities.
