ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR COUNTY DEPOSITORY
Notice is hereby given to all banks in Webster County, Mississippi, that the Board of
Supervisors of Webster County, Mississippi, will receive sealed bids or proposals from the said
banks up until the hour of 10:00 o’clock A. M., December 4,2019, for the privilege of keeping
the county’s funds or any part thereof for the calendar years of 2020 and 2021 pursuant to
§27-1 05-305, and §27-1 05-303, of the Mississippi Code of 1972 as amended.
As per §27-1 05-5 and §27-1 05-315 of the Mississippi Code Annotated, the depository will be
required to have securities pledged in the amount of 105% of the maximum sum to be placed on
deposit at anyone time, exclusive of that portion insured by FDIC. The bids or proposals must
designate the kinds of securities as authorized by laws which bidder proposed to offer and give as
security for said funds and the rate of interest that will be paid each month on the average monthly
balance, and what charges will be made, if any, for checks, deposit slips or otherwise. All bids or
proposals must be filed with clerk of the board of supervisors at his office in the Webster County

the Justice Court Building in Eupora, MS, to furnish and sell to said county for the use of road
maintenance districts and for other county purposes the following described materials and
services:
1. #57 Gravel (washed)
2. Over-Sized Gravel
3. Pea Gravel
4. Hot Mix (binder mix, surface mix)
5. Cold Mix
6. Crushed Limestone (all sizes) (including delivery, excluding delivery)
7. Grader Blades (all sizes) (delivered or pick-up)
8. Bionic Blades (all sizes) (delivered or pick-up)
9. Plastic Culverts (all sizes) (including delivery, excluding delivery)
10. Metal Culverts (all sizes) (including delivery, excluding delivery)
11. Polymerized-Emulsified Asphalt (CRS-2, CRS-2P)

All bids are to be made as per price to each district. Please state on your bid if deliverance of
items can be made within two (2) working days after receipt of purchase order.
Culverts- all bids are to be made per price to each district. All bids are to be made F.O.B. to
each district barn. Deliverance of culverts to Webster County Barns, all to be made within (2)
working days after receipt of purchase order.
Bidders are requested to make definite bids on all items without reference to any other catalog
or document that does not accompany the bid and deSignated the period of time the bid is for.
Awards are to be made for furnishing these items during a 12 month period from Dec. 4, 2019 to
December 7,2020. (This is a contract bid for the months indicate) If any change is required, your
contract will be considered “NULL AND VOID” .. “ .....
Bids are to be filed with the clerk of said board at the Chancery Clerk’s Office- P.O. Box 398,
Walthall, MS 39771 on or prior to said date, and at that time will be publicly opened. Contracts
will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder, but the board reserves the right to reject any and
all bids and to waive all formalities.
