You have been made a Respondent in the suit filed in this Court by the Webster County Department of Child Protection Services, by Marcus D. Davenport, and, Kylie Rae Pope, a minor, seeking to terminate your parental rights as those rights relate to said minor and demanding that the full custody, control, and authority to act on behalf of said minor be placed with the Webster County Department of Child Protection Services.
You are summoned to appear and defend against said Petition at 9:00 o’clock a.m., on the 22nd day of October, 2019, in the Chancery Courtroom of the Lowndes County Courthouse at 505 2nd Ave N, Columbus, Mississippi 39701, and in case of your failure to appear and defend, a Judgment will be entered against you for the relief demanded in the Petition.

PUBLIC NOTICE OF INVITATION
FOR BIDS FOR AGRICULTURAL LEASE
Notice is hereby given by the Board of Education of Webster County School District that sealed bids will be received by said Board until 3 o’clock p.m. on the 21st day of October, 2019, in the office of the Superintendent of Education of Webster County School District at 95 Clark Avenue, Eupora, MS 39744, for an agricultural lease on the following described Sixteenth Section Public School Trust Lands situated in Webster county, Mississippi, to-wit: 462 cultivatable acres located in Section 16, Township 21 North, Range 9 East.
This lease shall be for a term of five years. It will expire 12-31-2024. The form of the lease has been prescribed by the Board of Education and is now on file in the Office of the Superintendent of Education, and interested parties may inspect the same during regular office hours. Proper bid proposal forms are required and may be obtained from the Office of Superintendent of Education. Bids shall be submitted for the entire parcel. Only the annual rental shall be subject to bid. (Optional public notice provisions: H.B. 499 provides that the board may require bidders to furnish bond or other evidence of financial ability. For example, the board may require: “A certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the annual rental should be included with the bid when submitted,” or “A letter of credit from a bank or other lending agency for the amount of the annual rental should be included with the bid when submitted, or such other security as the Board may deem appropriate under the circumstances.) Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, addressed to the Board of Education of Webster County School District and plainly marked on the outside of the envelope “BID FOR AGRICULUTRAL LEASE on approximately 462 acres in Section 16, Township 21 North, Range 9 East”.
The Board of Education of Webster County School District will meet at Eupora, Mississippi, on the 21st day of October, 2019 at 6 o’clock p.m. and sealed bids received pursuant to this public notice will then and there be opened and read aloud. All bidders are advised that an auction may be held among those who submitted sealed bids. The auction may be held at the meeting at which the sealed bids are opened or at a subsequent regular or special meeting. Notice of the time and the place of the auction will be announced at the meeting at which sealed bids are opened. All bidders are advised to be present at the opening of the sealed bids, either in person or through a duly authorized representative to protect their rights to participate in an auction. Any bidder who is not present or represented at the meeting at which the bids are opened may lose the opportunity to participate in an auction.
The Webster County School Board has set a minimum of $ 174.00 per acre for the entire parcel of 462 acres as described. The Board of Education of Webster County School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids submitted.
The aforesaid land is being offered for lease under the provisions of Section 29-3-81 of the Mississippi Code Annotated (1972) as amended. Published by order of the Board of Education of Webster County School District.
