Notice is hereby given by the Board of Education of the Webster County School District that sealed bids will be received by said Board until 10:00 A.M. on the 9th day of September, 2019, in the office of the Superintendent of Education of the Webster County School District, located at 95 Clark Avenue, Eupora, MS 39744, for a lease of hunting and fishing rights on the following described Sixteenth Section Public School Trust Lands situated in Webster County, Mississippi, to-wit:
Section 16, Township 20N, Range 9E approximately 635 acres
Bids submitted will be opened at 10:00 A.M., or as soon thereafter as conveniently possible, on the 9th day of September, 2019. The lease shall be for a term of three (3) years. The form of the lease has been prescribed by the Board of Education and is now on file in the Office of the Superintendent of Education, and interested parties may inspect the same during regular office hours. A MINIMUM BID OF $4.00 PER ACRE HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED. LESSEE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PAYMENT OF ALL TAXES ON LEASED LAND.
Bids shall be submitted for the entire parcel. Only the annual rental shall be subject to bid. A certified check for the amount of the annual rental should be included with the bid when submitted.
