WHEREAS, on the 24th day of January, 2017, Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc. as nominee for Homeowners Mortgage of America, Incorporated doing business as Foundation Financial Group, assigned said Deed of Trust unto Wells Fargo Bank, NA, by instrument recorded in the office of the aforesaid Chancery Clerk in DT Book 2017 at Page 74; and
WHEREAS, on the 13th day of July, 2017 the Holder of said Deed of Trust substituted and appointed Dean Morris, LLC as Substitute Trustee by instrument recorded in the office of the aforesaid Chancery Clerk in DT Book 2017 at Page 431; and
WHEREAS, default having been made in the payments of the indebtedness secured by the said Deed of Trust, and the holder of said Deed of Trust, having requested the undersigned so to do, on the 27th day of March, 2019, I will during the lawful hours of between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., at public outcry, offer for sale and will sell, at the North Door of the Temporary Courthouse at 16 East Fox Ave at Eupora, Mississippi, for cash to the highest bidder, the following described land and property situated in Webster County, Mississippi, to-wit:
A lot or parcel of land located in the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 30, Township 20, North, Range 10 East, more particularly described as Beginning at the Point where the South Side of the Old Eupora-Walthall Public Road intersects the West Side of Highway 9 and running thence Northwesterly along the South Side of said Old Eupora-Walthall Public Road 275 feet to the Point of Beginning for this description thence Westerly along the center of a private road 70 yards, thence Northwesterly parallel to the Old Eupora-Walthall Public Road 70 yards, thence Northeasterly 70 yards to a point on the South Side of the Old Eupora-Walthall Public Road that is 70 yards along the South Side of said Road from the Point of Beginning, thence Southeasterly along the South Side of said Road 70 yards to the Point of Beginning, containing One acre, more or less, in Webster County, Mississippi.
I will only convey such title as is vested in me as Substitute Trustee.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The Town of Mathiston will accept sealed proposals from qualified firms and individuals interested in providing Engineering Services for a proposed wastewater improvements project utilizing Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.
Engineering Services required include, but are not limited to, project design, administration and construction supervision, preparation of specifications, supervision of bid procedures and resident inspection of the project, which consists of wastewater treatment facility improvements and sludge disposal. The contract will be on a fixed price basis.
Award of the aforementioned contract will be made to the responsible party whose proposal is most advantageous to the Town of Mathiston. Proposals will be rated according to the following criteria: 1) Qualifications – List of qualifications of each staff person to be assigned to this project; 2) Experience – Information regarding the experience of the firm and knowledge of the Town of Mathiston’s existing wastewater system. This information should include types of project activities undertaken; 3) Capacity for Performance – Identify the number and title of staff available to be assigned to provide services. All proposals will be rated on the following system to determine the best offeror. Description and Maximum Points: Qualifications – 40, Experience – 40, Capacity – 20, Total: 100 Points. Cost is not a factor in the selection process and should not be a part of the proposal. Cost will be negotiated with the firm or individual receiving the highest rating according to the stated criteria.
The selection committee using the above selection criteria will review proposals. Each member of the committee will assign points to each criteria based on the content of the proposal. Negotiations will be conducted to determine a mutually satisfactory contract, first with the firm receiving the highest accumulated points, as rated by the committee. If a mutually satisfactory contract cannot be negotiated with the firm, the firm will be requested to submit a best and final offer in writing. If a contract cannot be reached after this best and final offer, negotiations with that firm will be terminated and negotiations will be initiated with subsequently listed firms in order of rating. This procedure will be continued until a mutually satisfactory contract has been negotiated. In addition to reaching a fair and reasonable price for the required work, the objective of negotiations will be to reach an agreement on the provisions of the proposed contract including scope and extent of work and other essential requirements.
HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1968
This project is funded by the HUD Community Development Block Grant Program and is a Section 3 covered activity as defined by the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 (12 U.S.C 170lu) (Section3). Contractors and subcontractors are encouraged to provide to the greatest extent feasible, training, employment and contracting opportunities generated by the expenditure of this assistance to low-and very low-income persons and business concerns owned by low-and very-low income persons or which employ low-and very low-income persons.
Interested parties are invited to submit sealed proposals, six (6) copies, until 3:00 PM, Monday, April 1, 2019 in the Office of the Town Clerk of Mathiston, Attention: Rachel Robinson, 41 Mathis Drive, Post Office Box 178, Mathiston, Mississippi 39752. All proposals should be marked clearly as being an Engineering Proposal – CDBG Wastewater Improvements. NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given to all qualified financial institutions that the School Board of the
Webster County School District, pursuant to the provisions of Sections 37‐7‐333, 27‐
105‐305 and 27‐105‐315 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 as amended, shall receive bids
for the privilege of keeping the School District funds from July 1, 2019 through June 30,
2021.
Sealed bids shall be received at the Office of the Superintendent, 95 Clark Avenue,
Eupora, MS, 39744 until 4:00 pm (CST) on Friday, April 12, 2019 and each shall be
submitted on the bid proposal form which may be obtained from the Office of the
Superintendent.
