NOTICE OF PUBLIC AUCTION OF FORFEITED REAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, on June 20, 2016, in Civil Cause Number 2011-7-CVL, the Circuit Court of Webster County, Mississippi entered an Order awarding to the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, Gregory A. Thinnes’ interest in the real property located in Webster County, Mississippi being more particularly described as follows:
34.15 Acres, more or less, being all that part of the SE ¼ of the NW ¼ of Section 36, Township 20 North, Range 10 East, Webster County, Miss. and described as follows:
Beginning at the NW Corner of the said SE ¼ of NW ¼ of said Section 36 as a –Point of Beginning- and running thence South 810 feet to the NW Corner of the Auther J. Powers Lot; thence East 572 feet to a stake; thence South 26° East 300 feet to a stake on the North line of the Michael A Priddy Lot; thence East along the North line of the Priddy Lot 170 feet to a stake at the NE Corner of the Priddy Lot; thence South 191 feet to an iron stake on the South fence line of the said SE ¼ of NW ¼ of said Section 36 and at the SE Corner of the Priddy Lot; thence East along the South line of the said SE ¼ of NW ¼ of said Section 36 a distance of 416 feet, more or less, to the SE Corner of the said SE ¼ of said Section 36; thence West 1320 feet to the -Point of Beginning- and close, containing 34.15 Acres, more or less.

WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms of the aforesaid order and Miss. Code Ann. §41-29-181, the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics is to sell the aforesaid real property for cash at public auction to the highest and best bidder.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Miss. Code Ann. §41-29-181, the chief law enforcement officer of the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, being John M. Dowdy, Jr., Director, is to appoint a designee to sell the above referenced property to the highest and best bidder at public auction for cash.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Miss. Code Ann. §41-29-181, the chief law enforcement officer of the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, being John M. Dowdy, Jr., Director, appointed David S. Hyche, Staff Officer for the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, as designee, on May 14, 2018 and recorded in Book LD 2018 Page 226 in the Webster County Chancery Clerk’s office, to sell the above referenced property to the highest and best bidder at public auction for cash.
NOW THEREFORE, I, David S. Hyche, Staff Officer for the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, in my official capacity as designee, will on October 25, 2018 offer for sale at public outcry during the legal hours (between the hours of 11 o'clock a.m. and 4 o'clock p.m.) at the North Door of the temporary Courthouse located at 16. E. Fox Ave., Eupora Mississippi, to the highest and best bidder for cash, the above described real property.
