OF INVITATION FOR BIDS
FOR HUNTING AND FISHING RIGHTS
Notice is hereby given by the Board of Education of Choctaw County School
District that sealed bids will be received by said Board until 10:00 o’clock A.M. on the
11th day of July, 2019, in the Office of the Superintendent of Education of the Choctaw
County School District, at Ackerman, Mississippi, for a lease of hunting and fishing
rights on the following described Sixteenth Section Public School Trust Lands situated in
Choctaw County, Mississippi, to-wit:
Section 16, Township 16, Range 11: 636 Acres
Section 16, Township 17, Range 9: 498 Acres
Section 16, Township 18, Range 11: 496 Acres
The lease shall be for a term of three (3) years with the exception of Section
16-16-11: 636 Acres, this section will be a one (1) year lease only. The form of the
lease has been prescribed by the Board of Education and is now on file in the Office of
the Superintendent of Education, and interested parties may inspect the same during
regular office hours. A minimum bid of $5.00 per acre has been established.
Bid proposal forms may be obtained from the Office of the Superintendent of Education.
Bids shall be submitted for the entire parcel. Only the annual rental shall be subject to
bid. A certified check for the amount of the annual rental should be included with the bid
when submitted. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, addressed to the Board of
Education of the Choctaw County School District and plainly marked on the outside of
the envelope “BID FOR HUNTING AND FISHING LEASE on approximately___ acres in Section 16 , Township ___, Range ____.”
The Board of Education of Choctaw County School District will meet at Ackerman,
Mississippi, on the 11th day of July, 2019, at 7:00 o’clock p.m. and sealed bids received
pursuant to this public notice will then and there be opened and read aloud.
The Board of Education of the Choctaw County School District reserves the right to
reject any and all bids submitted.
The aforesaid land is being offered for lease under the provisions of Section 29-3-41 of
the Mississippi Code Annotated (1972) as amended. Published by order of the Board of

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given by the Board of Supervisors, Choctaw County, Ackerman, Mississippi, that it will receive sealed bids until the hour of 10:00 A.M., August 5, 2019, for the sale to the county, certain supplies, commodities, goods, and services over a period of 6 months beginning August 5, 2019. Bids must be submitted as term bids according to estimated quantities as follows:
ROAD GRAVEL: 18,000 yards per year, No. 1 or equivalent, free of mud and foreign matter. FOB vendor plant and/or FOB jobsite within Choctaw County Mississippi.
The Board intends to accept the lowest and best bids but reserves the right to reject any and or all bids. Site and conditions of site for pickup will be stated in quote by bidder. Ease of pickup and stress on county equipment involved in pickup will be considered in total cost of product.

Mowers will be purchased as is and removed as soon as the best bid(s) are accepted, approved, and payment has been received. Mowers can be seen at the Choctaw County School Transportation Department, located at 36 Seward St, Ackerman, MS 39735 (662-285-6136) from 8:00 to 2:00 weekdays.
Deadline for signed and sealed bids for the sale of the above mowers will be 10:00 a.m. on July 19, 2019.

Whereas, on November 2, 2009, Junior Bell and Beverly Bell, executed a Deed of Trust to L. Scott Pickle as Trustee for the use and benefit of Jason Clement and Mike Parish, beneficiary, which said Deed of Trust is of record in Deed of Trust Book 186 at Page 312 in the office of the Chancery Clerk in and for Choctaw County, Mississippi, and
WHEREAS, by instrument dated July 2, 2019, Kevin Null was substituted in the place and stead of L. Scott Pickle as Trustee by instrument executed by Mike Parish and Jason Clement, said instrument being recorded in Land Deed Book 224 at page 511-512, and
WHEREAS, default has been made in the payment of such sums secured by said Deed of Trust and the said Mike Parish and Jason Clement, being the holders of such indebtedness and the Deed of Trust, has made demand on said debtor for the payment of such sums secured by said Deed of Trust, and default has been made in the payment of such sums secured by said Deed of Trust whereupon the undersigned Substituted Trustee has been requested and ordered by said Mike Parish and Jason Clement, to proceed in the manner provided therein and to foreclose the said Deed of Trust.
