The excitement is building as preparations for the 44th Annual Red Hills Festival continue to ramp up, with the much-anticipated event set to take place on Saturday, May 10. The festival promises to be a day of fun, entertainment, and community spirit for locals and visitors alike.
Amy Hillyer, Chamber Director, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the generous sponsors already committed to supporting this long-standing tradition. "The Red Hills Festival would not exist without the generosity of our sponsors. The sponsorship packages offer you the opportunity to be a part of our largest annual community festival as well as an opportunity to invest in the future of Louisville," said Hillyer.
This year’s festival will see some changes, with organizers focusing their efforts on expanding the event itself. For the first time in years, the festival will not include the Friday Night Street Party. Instead, all attention will be on enhancing Saturday’s activities, ensuring a day packed with excitement and enjoyment for all ages.
One of the highlights of the day will be the live music performances, which will run throughout the festival, showcasing local talent and setting the perfect backdrop for the celebration. A 5K race and Fun Run will give participants the chance to get moving, while car enthusiasts can admire a range of classic and custom vehicles at the annual car show.
For the younger festival-goers, there will be even more activities in the kids’ area this year. Organizers have worked hard to ensure that children have plenty of fun-filled experiences, adding new attractions to keep them entertained throughout the day.
Craft and food vendors are encouraged to participate in this year’s event. If you are interested in showcasing your products, serving up delicious food, signing up for the races or car show, please contact the Louisville/Winston County Chamber of Commerce at 662-773-8719 or email amy@winstoncounty.com for more information and registration forms.
As always, the Red Hills Festival will be a great opportunity to celebrate the unique culture and community spirit of Louisville, MS. Be sure to mark your calendars for May 10 and join in the fun!
