Dear friends, last week I asked the question, “Are you saved?”
I’ve had people tell me, “Oh yes, I joined the church a long time ago” or “I’ve been baptized.”
All of that is good, but nevertheless, it doesn’t mean that you are saved. We have to ask the Lord to forgive us from all our sins and to save our souls. He will and we become different people. We no longer want to do the old things we used to do.
Then God puts a hunger in our hearts to want to know more about him. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things pass away; behold, all things are become new.”
The Lord loves each one of us; he is no respecter of persons. He said, “Whosoever will, let him come.”
Come now before it’s too late. We do have a Savior His name is Jesus.
