God’s healing still takes place today
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
We had the most blessed day Sunday with our homecoming. Our evangelist brought an on-time word for the body of Christ. Our singers gave testimonies as to God’s healing power and were anointed with their singing. How wonderful it is to be in the presence of God.
The lead singer in the group (Bro. Timmy Slayton) testified that he had been told he had cirrhosis of the liver and he was afraid that he would have to have a liver transplant or might even die, but God came through for him. He had hands laid on him and was prayed for and was healed. The doctors couldn’t find anything wrong with his liver. Praise God!
And we serve the same God. If he (God) healed this man, he can heal us. Amen!
Acts 10:34: “Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons. What God does for one, he will do for another.”
And if you think that healing only takes place in Bible days, you are wrong. Hebrews 13:18 says, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.”
I hate that many didn’t come to our homecoming, but there will be a great homecoming in heaven that we can’t afford to miss.
