With the rising of the morning sun on October 4, 2025, Sylvia Sidney Savage Hollingsworth received her heavenly reward and joined her savior Jesus Christ. With her husband by her side, she passed peacefully at home. Devoted mother and wife, she will be remembered as a kind, gentle loving soul that was a hero and survivor. She loved traveling, shopping, gardening and bird watching. She especially enjoyed morning coffee with her daughter, Stacy where they would watch the humming birds and smell the garden. She also loved music and spent many wonderful times, dancing, singing and listening to music. Sylvia cared deeply for her friends and revered the ladies of the jewel Sunday school class at Harrisburg Baptist Church.
