Jann Leone
March 19, 1943 — February 3, 2026
Jann Lee Leone, 82, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Visitation was from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 7 at Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, and on Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Sunday, February 8 in the Massey Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville with Reverend Rob Faulk officiating. Interment immediately followed the service in Shiloh Cemetery in Louisville.
Jann was born March 19, 1943, to Webb Pruitt Lee and Flora Lucille Haggard Lee in Louisville. She was a member of South Louisville Baptist Church. Jann worked as a secretary and co-owner of Lee Tractor Company for 35 years and she worked at Diamond Grove for six years. She enjoyed gardening and crafting, but her passion was fashion and painting. She loved cooking, whether it was for her family or a group of teenage boys on any given day. Jann Enjoyed volunteering her times as a hospice volunteer. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren, who became her focus in her later years. She enjoyed watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys after she moved to Texas.
Jann is survived by three sons: Brian Leone (Susan) and Jay Leone both of Louisville, and Phil Leone (Lisa) of Brashear, Texas. One of her greatest joys was being “Grandma” to her five grandchildren: Patrick Leone (Alexis), Justin Leone, Crystal Sutton (Chance Spann), Cody Sutton, and Joshua Sutton; and to her six great-grandchildren. Jann is also survived by her sister, Kay Castle (Lee) and her brother, Jim Lee (Mary Anne). She was preceded in death by her husband, John Leone and her parents.
Serving as pallbearers are Patrick Leone, Wes Leone, Lynn Leone, Cody Sutton, Don Rives, and Stacey Thames. Memorials in honor of Jann may be given to Shiloh Cemetery Fund, c/o Brenda VanLandingham, 455 Walter Burroughs Road, Louisville, MS 39339.
The family would like to thank Lisa, her daughter-in-law; as well as her nurses, Rolunda, Paige, and Lyn; and her CNAs and other staff at Briarcliff Health Center in Greenville, Texas, for the compassion, devotion, and loving care they gave her in her last years.
