Carole Reagan Thomas, 86, born March 18, 1939 to the late Seth and Muriel Reagan, passed away on December 3, 2025 at The Goldton in Starkville, MS. She was a retired educator with the Columbus School District and a member of Center Grove Baptist Church. Carole had a huge personality bigger than life, always smiling and giving a friendly greeting and greatly had an impact on her students and everyone she knew. She was the matriarch of her family and was deeply loved.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Amy Vinson and brother, David Reagan.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Edward L. Thomas, Sr.; daughters, Heather Ogle (Phil) of Colleyville, TX and Chanda Sykes (Mark) of Winona, MS; son, Lee Thomas (Bobby) of St. Petersburg, FL; sister, Jette McDougall of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Savannah Beltramo, Seth Sykes and Riley Sullivan; and one great granddaughter, Teddie Beltramo.
There will be a private ceremony at a later date.
