December 22, 1988– September 25, 2025
Maben, Mississippi
Candice Shantel Pelletier passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 36. Candace was born on December 22, 1988, in Starkville, Mississippi to Roye Pelletier and Cynthia Parker.
Candice was one of the most kind and beautiful souls, unless you messed with her family. Family was most important to Candace, especially her two children, Lexie and Colton. She loved listening to Lexie sing and would always say, “Colton is so cute. Isn’t he, momma?” She was incredibly proud of her kids. Candice also enjoyed crafting with her niece, Clara, making wreaths and bracelets.
Growing up, Candice loved playing softball, hanging out with her friends and painting her room a different color every month. She would always try to prove to her brothers that she was just as strong as them. She always kept her mom on her toes.
Most of all, Candice was loved. Her family would do anything for her, and she would do the same for them. She will be loved and miss forever.
Candice is survived by her children, Lexie and Colton Vaughn; parents Roye Pelletier, mother Cynthia Parker and Chuck Cole; two brothers Eric Blake Pelletier and Cameron Ryan (Ashleigh) Fisackerly ; her grandparents Ann Rushing, Joe and Joyce Pelletier, and David and Judy McGavic; three aunts Susan (Randy) Stuckey and Melissa (Chris) Fuller Lucas and Marie Miller (Bruce); two uncles Timothy Rushing and Walter Parker along with numerous cousins, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her uncle, Stacey Rushing Drewery.
A visitation was held for Candice at Wise Reed Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 10 am until 12 pm. Services were Tuesday at 12 pm in the Wise Reed Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service was held at New Hope Cemetery in Clarkson following the service. Wise Reed Funeral Home will be overseeing all arrangements.
