Services for Anthony Fondren, 41, were Sept. 7, 2019, at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman with the Rev. Todd Chesser officiating. Burial was in Fellowship Cemetery near Mathiston.
He was born June 23, 1978, in Maben to Bobbie Jo Holditch Fondren and the late Ronald Craig Fondren. Mr. Fondren died Sept. 4, 2019, at his residence in Mathiston.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle Langford Fondren; his mother, Bobbie Joe Peacock; two daughters, Carly and Blair Fondren; and a sister, Katrina McClelland, all of Mathiston.

Services for Shawn Earl Fondren, 47, of Florence were Sept. 5, 2019, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. A private family burial was held at West Shady Grove Cemetery in Eupora.
He was born March 21, 1972, in Eupora to the late Sidney Fondren and Diana Dunbar. Mr. Fondren was employed as a trim carpenter. He died Aug. 31, 2019 in Florence.
Survivors include his wife, Diana Fondren of Florence; a son, Chase Fondren of Brandon; two daughters, Brooke Jordan of Owensboro, Ky., and Bailey Fondren of Florence; two brothers and two grandchildren.
Russell Burbage ‘Rusty’ King

Services for Russell Burbage “Rusty” King, 60, of Ackerman were Sept. 10, 2019, at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman with burial in South Union Methodist Cemetery.
He was born April 21, 1959, in Ackerman to Mae Perry King and the late C.B. “Red” King. Mr. King was a retired instructor from the Mississippi University for Women and a member of University Baptist Church in Starkville. He died Sept. 7, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
Survivors include his partner, David Ellington of Ackerman; his mother, Mae King of Ackerman; a brother, Mike King of Ackerman; a sister, Pam Simpson of Ackerman; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
