Rosie Barton Graveside services for Rosie Barton, 81, of Maben were Dec. 13, 2020, at Pheba Cemetery. She died Dec. 8, 2020, at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg. Montgomery Mortuary of Houston was in charge of arrangements. Billy Lucas Memorial services will be held at a later date for Billy Lucas, 82, of Louisville. He was born Nov. 1, 1938, in Choctaw County to the late Burley Lucas and Minnie Mae Croslin. Mr. Lucas died Dec. 11, 2020, at Winston County Medical Center in Louisville. Survivors include four sons, Jeff, Jimmy, Jerry, and George Lucas; a brother, Jimmy Dale Lucas; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Phylis Miller Hoskins Funeral services for Phylis Miller Hoskins, 84, were held on Saturday, November 21 at New Zion Baptist Church in Weir, MS. Pastor Willie Matthew officiated. Hoskins died on November 13. She worked as a home health aide for many years. Survivors include her children, Tomy Miller, Annie Lou Miller; her sister Jessie Mae Austin, nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, on great-great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews and other family. Taylor Funeral Services of Louisville was in charge of the arrangements.
