Donna Faith Lightell, 59, passed away on November 9, 2020. She was born April 5, 1961 and was a member of Mantee Baptist Church. Donna was a 1979 graduate of Cumberland High School with honors. As a member of MS Press Association, she enjoyed writing the sports articles for CHS and was a representative for The News Press(Maben) and The Progress-Times(Eupora). She also loved being the manager for Jerry Greene's Lady Bulldog basketball team.
Donna was employed at Dollar General in Woodland. She was also the manager of the Mantee Biscuit Club. She loved rescue animals, working the polls, sports(avid fan of New Orlean Saints and Memphis Tigers), the "W"(MS University for Women), and being an alumni member of the Highlanders.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents Bobby and Nona Dalton Lightell. She is survived by a host of cousins and a community of friends.
A graveside service was conducted by Bro. Buddy Pepper on November 12, 2020 at Wake Forest Cemetery in Dancy. Memorial donations may be made to:
