Private family graveside services and burial for William F. “Billy” Coleman Jr., 74, of Ackerman were June 29, 2021, at Enon Cemetery in Ackerman.
He was born Aug. 6, 1946, in Louisville to the late William F. Sr. and Dora Onelle Bagwell Coleman. Mr. Coleman died June 25, 2021, at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville.
Survivors include a son, Shain Coleman of Booneville; a daughter, Seana Coleman Bullock of Booneville; a brother, Keith Coleman of Ackerman; and one grandson.
Memorials may be made to Enon Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Charles Edward Harris

Services for Charles Edward Harris, 73, of Weir were June 24, 2021, at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Weir with burial in the church cemetery.
He was born Dec. 31, 1947, in Choctaw County to the late Edward Thomas and Ioma Keen Harris. His occupation was farming. Mr. Harris died June 21, 2021, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
Survivors include his wife, Paula Harris; and a sister, Clara Beth Dean of Hattiesburg.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.

Terry D. Carter
Funeral services for Terry D. Carter, 33, were held at 2 p.m., June 26 at Beck Funeral Home in Louisville. Pastor Annie Thomas officiated. Burial followed in New Zion Cemetery.
Terry died June 19 at the Baptist Medical Center in Columbus.
Survivors include his father, Terry Jackson; his mother, Geanetta Carter; 1 son, Jaylon D. Carter; 2 sisters, Shuntha Carter and Tameka Carter-Pratt; 1 brother, Fredick Carter; grandmother, Annie Rachel Vaughn-Bey; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Sgt. William E. Davis
Funeral services for Sgt. William E. Davis, 67, were held at 11 a.m., June 26 at Boyd Chapel UM Church. Minister Linda Davis officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Sgt. Davis died June 19 at the North MS Medical Center in Tupelo.
Survivors include his father, Freddie Davis; one daughter, Alicia Sherman; one son, Earnest Davis; four sisters, Dorothy Pittman, Evon Gardner, Linda Davis, and Lena Anderson; six brothers, Freddie Davis, Jr., Roby Davis, Troy Davis, Felix Davis, Robert Davis, and Russell Davis; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mablene Smith
Funeral services for Mablene Smith, 65, were held at 12 p.m., June 25 at Beck Funeral Home in Louisville. Rev. Darryl Rush officiated. Burial followed in the Mount Salem cemetery in Preston.
Mrs. Smith died June 21 at her home.
Survivors include her husband, Lincoln Smith; one daughter, Adien Kirk; six sisters, Louise Clayborn, Annie Mae Needham, Gladys Johnson, Merry Heedham, Coeva Madison, and Gusta Clark; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Barbara Phylis Carter
Funeral services for Barbara Phylis Carter, 69, were held at 11 a.m., June 23 at Mt. Pleasant #2 Church cemetery. Rev. William J. Haynes officiated.
Mrs. Carter died June 15 at the Neshoba County Nursing Home.
Survivors include her sisters, Lorean Graham, Nancy Mae Carter, and Lena Mae Goss; two sons, Eugene Carter and Barrett Carter; three brothers, Willie Carter, Boe Carter and Jeffery Carter; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
