Services for Joseph Craig Campbell, 57, of Weir were June 7, 2021, at New Haven Baptist Church with burial follow in the church cemetery.
He was born Oct. 25, 1963, in Choctaw County to Betty Simpson Campbell and the late Albert Leon Campbell. Mr. Campbell was employed by Choctaw County as a District 3 maintenance employee. He died June 5, 2021, in Montgomery County.
Survivors include his mother, Betty Lou Campbell of Weir; a daughter, Macie Claire McDade of Ackerman; three brothers, Donald Campbell, Bill Campbell and Albert Edward Campbell, all of Weir; and one niece.
Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman was in charge of arrangements.
Rusty Dendy

Funeral services for Mr. Rusty Dendy, 68, will be held at a later date. Mr. Dendy dedicated his body to University Medical Center in Jackson, MS.
Native of Choctaw County, Mr. Rusty Dendy was born to Ruston and Ruby Mae Dendy on September 8, 1952. He worked in the heavy construction field until he retired. Mr. Dendy died on May 17, 2021 of natural causes.
He is survived by his siblings: his brother Dusty Dendy and his wife Marie of Ackerman, MS; his brother Anthony Dendy and his wife Alice of Brandenton, FL; his sister Teresa Murphy of Ackerman, MS; his brother Ricky Howard Dendy and Kay of Ackerman, MS; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family asked that memorials be made to Mount Moriah Baptist Church cemetery fund, located between Weir and French Camp, MS.
