Musa Levon Matthews died February 18, 2022. Rev. W.L. Hightower officiated. Burial followed at New Zion M.B. Church cemetery.
Survivors include his father, Willie David Matthews; his wife, Marketta Matthews; his daughters, Desiree Thompson and De’Asia Matthews; and a special daughter, Elena Matthews; grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Johnny Lee Robinson
Funeral services for Johnny Lee Robinson, 58, were held at 11 a.m., February 26 at Martin Cemetery. Rev. Lewis William and Rev. Marqius Jenkins officiated.
Mr. Robinson died February 19 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus.
Survivors include his mother, Bertha Ree Robinson; 2 sons, Casey Robinson and Tevin R. McCoy; 4 sisters, Rosie Harlan, Cynthia Little, Mary J. Robinson, and Helen Bradley; 3 brothers, Oscar and Jimmy Robinson, and Johnnie B. Robinson; 3 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Vester Goss
Funeral services for Vester Goss, 78, were held at 2 p.m., February 26 at Beck Funeral Home in Louisville, MS. Dr. Willie Goss, Jr. officiated. Burial followed in Center Ridge cemetery.
Mr. Goss died February 21 at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Goss; 4 daughters, Sandra, Angela, Aretha, and Marla; 6 sons, Kevin, Fedrick, Travis, Glendon, Desny, and Christopher; 5 sister, Edna Eichelberger, Lessie Moore, Bessie McCoy, Catherine Hawthorne, and Nancy Jernigan; 3 brothers, Lester Goss, Henry Goss, and Willie Dee Goss; and a host of nieces and nephews.
