Mrs. Frances Stevenson Bagwell, 87, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021, at her home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 28th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Interment was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Louisville. Porter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bagwell was born on April 14, 1934, in Winston County, MS. She was an employee of Spartus Corp. for many years, and a faithful member of Enon Baptist Church.
The thing that gave her greatest joy was her family and friends. She enjoyed talking on the phone with them when she could not be with them personally. She loved working in her yard with her flowers and raised bed garden as health would allow. She also loved feeding her pet goldfish in here little pond and her bream in her big pond.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harold “Bunt” Bagwell; her parents, Lee and Larvell Stevenson; and a sister, Dean Eaves.
She is survived by her son, Jimmy (Debra) Bagwell of Louisville; her daughter, Debbie (Joey) Johnson of Louisville; and a sister, Martha Hall of Louisville.
Pallbearers were Ricky Miller, Corey Bagwell, Rylee Pearson, Jerry Ferguson, Neil Snow and Tony Fulton.
