Mr. Wayne Jones, 68, died January 31, 2022, at his residence in Webster County, MS. Funeral Services were held 2:00PM Thursday February 3, 2022, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Choctaw County MS. Brother Max Blackwelder officiated. Pallbearers were; Gary Davis, Dale Harris, George Maddox, Gene Simpson, David Simpson and Mike Harris.
He was a member of Old Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and a conductor with the Skuna Valley Railroad. He is survived by his wife of 31 years; Gale Blackwelder Jones, Eupora, MS, daughter; Katrina (Nick) Murphy, Ocean Springs, MS, two sons; Christopher Dewayne Jones and Christopher Spencer both of Big Creek MS, three grandchildren; Jo Jo Murphy, Derek Murphy, and Kirkland Spencer, and a great grandson; Jaxson Spencer. He was preceded in death by his parents; Roy Jones and Emma Simpson Jones.
