Mrs. Maxine McCaffrey Gordon, 94, died Friday, April 15, 2022, at North Mississippi Medical Center Long Term Care Unit in Eupora, MS. Funeral Services were held 2:00PM Monday April 18, 2022, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial in White Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Webster County. Visitation was Monday April 18, 2022, from 1:00PM until service time at Oliver Funeral Home. Bro. Travis Gray officiated.
Mrs. Maxine was born on January 13, 1928, to Morris Otto and Mary Robertson McCaffrey in Webster County. She was a member of Eupora First Baptist Church and was a retired factory worker.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Otto and Mary McCaffrey, her son; William Brown, her sister; Elanor Glenn, two brothers; Larry and Morris "Bud" McCaffrey. Mrs. Maxine is survived by her two daughters; Karen Perkins, Eupora, MS and Mary Hendrix, Mobile, AL, her brother; Kenneth (Francis) McCaffrey, Tuscaloosa, AL, four grandchildren; Michael Brown, Jennifer (Roger) Green, Scott (Amy) Young and Christie (Derek) Hinds, eight great grandchildren; Michelle (Bill) Mason, Derrick (Miranda) Andrews, Hunter (Bethany) Young, Garrett Young, Brandon and Preston Hinds, Jonah and Izzy Brown and two great great grandchildren; Adalyn Mason and Joelle Young.
