Gloria Mae Weeks, age 72, passed away at Attala Nursing Home in Kosciusko, Mississippi on February 16, 2022. She was the wife of Jimmy Weeks of Carthage, Mississippi and daughter of the late George and Jettey Louise Patridge Palmer.
Gloria spent her time camping, attending auctions, and keeping her house in order.
Her hobbies were collecting small dolls, items with roosters on them, and dream catchers. She was a Baptist by faith.
Gloria Weeks is survived by her husband, Jimmy Weeks; three sons, Larry Weeks, Chance Weeks, and Malcolm Weeks; a daughter, Selena Weeks; ten grandchildren; two brothers, Billy Johnson of Maben, Mississippi and Jesse Palmer of Corinth, Mississippi; and two sisters, Noreene Green of Ackerman, Mississippi and Pam Ray of Michie, Tennessee.
Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, George and Jettey Louise Patridge Palmer, and one brother, Jimmie Palmer of Mathiston, Mississippi.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Wise Reed Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
