Mrs. Erma Sue Bennett Griffin McQuary, 89, died February 24, 2022, at North MS Medical Center in Eupora, MS. Funeral Services were held 2:00PM Monday February 28, 2022, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora with burial in Crossroads Cemetery in Webster County, MS. Bro. John Dendy and Bro. Lee Dillard officiated. Pallbearers were: Bro. John Dendy, John McCarter, Carl Kelly, James Mason, Cody and Craig Griffin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; William Walter and Nora Mae Bennett, her first husband; James Smith Griffin, her second husband; J.T. McQuary, eleven brothers and sisters, a daughter; Eva Rico and her son; Jack Griffin. Mrs. Sue is survived by her son; James (Karen) Griffin, Eupora, MS, four grandchildren; Heather Griffin, Jeff (Chelsea) Griffin, Cody (Leslie) Griffin and Craig (Bailey) Griffin and nine great grandchildren.
Mrs. Sue was born May 30, 1932, in Mathiston, MS. She was a member of Amity Baptist Church in Woodland, MS. Mrs. Sue was homemaker and retired manager of Lynn Bishop Jewelry Store for over 20 years.
