Robert Earl McAdory

A private memorial service for Mr. Robert Earl “Bob” McAdory, Jr., 64, will be held at a later date. Mr. McAdory was born on December 19, 1960. He enjoyed the outdoors and was also known for his woodworking. He died on February 22 at his home in Winston County.
Survivors include his children, Jamie McAdory, Tabbitha McAdory, Stacie McAdory, Robert Earl “Bubba” McAdory, III, and Meghen Cogburn. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; his sister, Jeanenne McCool; and special friend, Dee McAdory.
Services are under the direction of Massey Funeral Home.
Lillie Bee Davis

Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Bee Davis, 63, were held on March 1st at 2pm at Lake Grove Mount Baptist Church of Louisville. Rev. Barney Joe Roberson officiated. Burial held at Alexander cemetery.
Native of Louisville MS, Mrs. Davis was born in 1962. She died on February 23, 2025.
Survivors include sister, Charlene Jones; brothers Charlie Lewis Davis, John Walter Davis and Jimmy Lee Davis; and a host of family and friends.

Freddy James Pace

Funeral services for Mr. Freddy James Pace, 74, were held on March 2nd at 2pm at Beck Funeral Home of Louisville. Mr. Pace was cremated.
Native of Louisville MS, Mr. Pace was born in 1950. He died on February 23, 2025.
Survivors include daughters, Monica Brown and Toshebia Brown; son, Cortez Brown; and a host of other family and friends.

Bobby Joe Buskirk

Private memorial services for Mr. Bobby Joe Buskirk, 79, will be held at a later date.
Native of Lepanto, Arkansas, Mr. Buskirk was born on September 20, 1945. He was an avid gunsmith and deer hunter. He died on February 24 at his home in Winston County.
Survivors include his daughters, Audra Buckley of Ennis, TX, Tracy Martin of Louisville and Brandi Hemphill of Magee, Mississippi; brother, Jim Buskirk; nine grandchildren, and other family and friends.
Services are under the direction of Massey Funeral Home of Louisville.
Hazel Boyd Starnes

A Memorial Funeral Service for Hazel Boyd Starnes, 82, will be held on Saturday, March 22 at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Bradley with Rev. Mike Sanders officiating. A Memorial Visitation Services will be held at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Bradley, MS on Saturday, March 22, 2025 an hour prior to service.
A native of Sturgis, Mr. Starnes passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025, at the Mississippi State Veterans Home in Kosciusko, MS. Hazel was born in 1942. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran during the Vietnam War and a Union Painter in Rhode Island.
He is survived by his sons, Michael Boyd Starnes of Cumberland, RI and Joseph Boyd Starnes of Danbury, CT; daughters, Margaret Mary Stansfield of Blackstone, MA, Julia Mary Vanover of Columbus and Hesper Starnes of Sturgis; his brother, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his former wife and mother of his children, Mary-Beth Wood of Woonsocket, RI and his former wife, Martha Starnes of Starkville.
Memorials may be made to the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or the Oktibbeha County Humane Society.
