Funeral services for Mr. Roy Gladney, 80, were held on December 17 at 11am at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Louisville. Rev. Billy J. Clay officiated. Burial was held at Union Chapel Cemetery.
A native of Louisville, Mr. Glaney was born in 1944. He died on December 10, 2024, at Winston Medical Center.
Survivors include wife, Mattie Gladney; sons, Darell Glaney, David Gladney, and Dwayne Gladney; siblings, Lorene Turner, Corene Crosby and Charlie Gladney; 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and a host of family and friends.

Stanley Earl Marshall

A memorial service for Mr. Stanley Earl Marshall, 63, was held on December 19 at 12pm. Minister Wanda Marshall Smith officiated.
A native of Louisville, Mr. Marshall was born in 1961. He died on December 12, 2024, at Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville, MS.
Survivors include sisters, Exie Washington, Carol Cunningham, Sharon Marshall, and Wanda Smith; brother, Earnest Marshall, Jr.; and a host of other family and friends.

Roy Sidney Black, Jr.

The memorial service for Mr. Roy Sidney Black, Jr., 63, will be held at a later date.
Mr. Black was born on January 31, 1961 in Winona, MS. After high school he enlisted with the U.S. Marine Corps and served 4 years; then he worked as an electrician until retirement. Mr. Black died on December 12 at his residence in Ackerman.
Survivors include, son, Andrew Black of Houston, TX; daughter Ashley Black of Ackerman; one granddaughter and five sisters, as well as other family and friends.
Curtis Steele Austin

A memorial service for Mr. Curtis Steele Austin, 76, was held on December 21 at 1pm.
A native of Louisville, Mr. Austin was born in 1948. He died on December 15, 2024, at Louisville Health Care.
Survivors include wife, Rebecca Lee Austin; children, Chevelle Hall, Primas Hall, Vernita Avery, Tatasha Austin, Curtis Austin II, and Chaquastia Austin; siblings, Wilma Veasley, Lois Steele, Billy Ray Steele, William Earl Steele, Ida Miller and Clara Cooper; 26 grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Gladys Ann Berry

Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Ann Berry, 86, were held December 20 at Oliver Funeral Home in Eupora, MS. Rev. James Caffey officiated. Burial was held at Greensboro Cemetery in Webster County.
Mrs. Berry was born on July 16, 1938. She was a homemaker and a member of Ackerman Church of God. She died on December 17, 2024, at Diversicare in Eupora, MS.
Ann is survived by her seven grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
