Services for Earl Robert Brunty, 80, of Cassopolis, Michigan, were June 26, 2024, at Wagner Family Funerals Connelly Chapel in Cassoplois. Burial followed at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens in S u m n e r v i l l e , Michigan. He was born Oct. 17, 2043, in Eupora to the late Dan and Carrie Brunty, graduating from Webster County Training School in 1963. Mr. Brunty worked for Dock Foundry in Three Rivers, Michigan, for 45 years and was a deacon at Full Gospel Fellowship. He died June 14, 2024. Survivors include two daughters, Monica Brunty and Shatina Brunty of Cassopolis; three sons, Nike Brunty, Tyler Brunty and Zadden Brunty of Cassopolis; one brother, James Brunty of Georgia; two sisters, Janice Jennings and Mattie Dumas of Eupora; 12 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Luskey Lee Green June 24, 2024
Memorial services for Luskey Lee Green, 70, were June 29, 2024, at Ackerman Church of Christ. A private burial will follow at Enon Cemetery in Ackerman at a later date. He was born Sept. 6, 1953, in B e n t o n v i l l e , Arkansas, to the late William Silas and Patsy Ruth Brown Green. Mr. Green was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired preacher who still ministered from home and led Bible studies. He was a member of A c k e r m a n Church of Christ. Mr. Green died June 24, 2024, at his residence in Ackerman. Survivors include his wife, Deborah Ann Whittington Green of Ackerman; his daughter, Deidre Green of Ackerman; two brothers, Victor Roy Green and Warren Jay Green; and two sisters, Barbara Ann Grochel and Vivian Kay Fuerst. Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman is in charge of arrangements.

Smokey Dale Miles June 24, 2024
Services for Smokey Dale Miles, 60, were June 27, 2024, at Salem Methodist Church near Ackerman with the Rev. Doug Wise officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. He was born April 1, 1964, in Choctaw County to the late James Miles and Barbara Collier. Mr. Miles was a retired road foreman for Choctaw County District 3 and served in the National Guard for six years. He died at his residence outside of Ackerman on June 24, 2024. Survivors include his wife, Lynelle Miles of Ackerman; two brothers, Jim Miles of Yazoo City and Tony Miles of Pontotoc; one sister, Gail Lindsey of Savannah, Tennessee; seven nephews and two nieces. A memorial service for Stephan Steve; Ludwig Svetkovich, 80, will be held at a later date. He was born May 4, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Stephan and Molly Svetkovich. Mr. Svetkovich served in the U..S. Army and was a retired electrician. He died at his home in Stewart on June 23, 2024.
