A memorial service and celebration of life for Bedford Wayne Burton, 83, will be at 3 p.m. June 27, 2021, at Ackerman Church of God, 8162 MS Hwy. 12
Services were Sept. 23, 2020, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. James Little and Kelvin Copeland officiating. Burial was in Webster Memorial Garden.
He was born Dec. 26, 1936, to the late James and Lillie Burton. Mr. Burton owned several convenience stores over 20 years and was a member of Ackerman Church of God. He died Sept. 20, 2020, at his residence in Ackerman.
Survivors include his wife, Anna W. Schoonover Burton of Ackerman; two daughters, Sherri Walker of Brandon and Shelia Crimm of Ackerman; two sons, Mike Morgan of Eupora and Kenny Burton of Mathiston; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a stepdaughter, Elizabeth Lindigren Hancock; two stepsons, Bill Paine and Ken Paine; and three stepgrandchildren.

Services for Lillie Mae Walker, 73, were June 19, 2021, at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman with burial in Blythe Creek Cemetery.
She was born June 18, 1947, in Choctaw County to the late W.S. and Orene Weeks Fondren. Mrs. Walker was a retired admissions clerk for Oktibbeha County Hospital. She died June 17, 2021, at her residence in Mathiston.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Glen Walker of Mathiston; two sons, Bill Gilliland of Mantee and Greg Gilliland of Clarkson; two daughters, Teresa Waller of Tennessee and Angela Thomas of Mathiston; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
